On June 14 last year my work colleague Nicky burst in the door and told me she had a vivid dream about me and needed to tell me while it was still fresh in her mind.
In that dream I was sitting in a rounded retro caravan with my pooches either side of me. She said she saw faux wood laminate and a long bench seat. In her dream she said I was typing on a laptop and I was writing a book.
Fast forward 15 months and I'm about to set off on a journey and make her dream a reality.
My van: 'Elsa' is a 1973 10ft Franklin Regent, nicknamed Franklin 'eggs' for their shape.
My travel companions: Two little Jack Russell Terrier dogs named Halle and Louie
My destination: Western Australia.
My time frame: 6-8 months.
My mission: To learn more about my country, engage with the people and listen to their stories while living my own story...
I am looking forward to joining you on this exciting adventure.
